The Office for Community and Civic Engagement hosted an alternative spring break trip to serve the greater New Orleans area.
During the break, the group of 12 UNCP representatives, composed of 10 student service leaders and two staff leads, served two days at Giving Hope foodbank and two days at the Greater New Orleans Therapeutic Riding Center.
This was CCE’s first alternative break trip since spring 2020. It was planned by Sam Hauser, Assistant Director for Student Engagement and Phylencia Latney, Assistant Director for Community Engagement.
