The University of North Carolina at Pembroke has launched a redesigned website with a sleek new look, simpler navigation, and features that make it easier for students, parents, visitors, and administrators to find what they need.

The site has been completely remodeled with a layout that looks more inviting and easier to use while still highlighting what the university has to offer. The homepage now highlights the school’s values of opportunity, community, and belonging, setting the tone for why UNCP is a place where students can grow and succeed. It serves as both an introduction to the campus culture and an invitation for prospective students to picture themselves as part of the Bravenation family.

While the redesign is a big shift for returning students, faculty, and staff who were used to the older layout, the changes are expected to be more beneficial in the long run. The new structure makes information easier to find, more reliable in the overall experience more welcoming, though it may take some time getting used to the improved design.

“I’m not very fond of the abruptness, but I do appreciate the school’s efforts to improve.” said UNCP student, Johnathan Segres.

Navigation is designed to save time and reduce confusion for everyone who uses the site. One of the most noticeable improvements is the navigation with more straightforward menus. Visitors can quickly locate admissions information, financial aid details, or academic programs. Parents, previous students, and current Braves will find the system more user-friendly, even though it may take time for returning users to adjust to the new structures. The update also benefits those behind the scenes. Faculty and staff now have a simpler way to manage and update content, making it easier to keep the website accurate and consistent for families and students exploring the site. This means fewer outdated pages and smoother overall experiences.

Another key feature is how the site highlights. The university story. Students’ achievements, academic pathways, and cost-saving opportunities are no longer buried behind multiple clicks, but are built into the main structure. By bringing these highlights forward, the website is designed to better communicate the value of UNCP education. Though the redesign is a big shift, early reactions have been positive: visitors describe the site as modern, easy to use, and far more inviting than before. While it may take a little time for returning users to learn the new layout, most agree that the improvements are a step in the right direction.

For anyone considering UNCP, whether a future student parent or community member, the website now serves as a more helpful resource. First stop. It not only offers a simpler way to find information but also reflects the university spirit of openness and opportunity.
