Volleyball Holds Longest Victory Margin Against Erskine

UNCP Braves Volleyball hosted a bow against Erskine 3-0 on Sept. 17 at the Lumber Guaranty Bank Court. This was the fourth match won against Erskine since 2019, holding a record for the longest victory margin.

The first set of the match was a close call with 25-21, the second set was 25-17, the third set finished the match with 25-11. There Braves completed 6 blocks throughout the match.

In attendance were 112 people for this victorious performance. The Braves had 48 kills total compared to Erskine with 26. The oil leaders for the Braves were Vanja Prulj, Junior, with 18 kills and Shannon Skryd. Redshirt Senior. not far behind with 13 kills.

Katie Presley, Redshirt Sophomore, led the volleyball team with 25 assists and Morgan Gibbs. Senior, followed behind with 16. The team completed a total of 45 assists which helped gain the 48 kills.
