Muslim Student Association is hosting Islamic Awareness Week from Monday, March 18 to Thursday, March 21 at various locations on campus.

The event is a series of relaxing activities that promote diversity and religious unity for the student body on campus. The events are free and open to all students.

A fashion show was originally scheduled for the Wednesday, March 20 event, but in light of the shooting in New Zealand on March 15 that claimed 50 Muslim lives, the event has been changed to a tabling discussion titled #WeStandWithNewZealand. Students are invited to come visit the table and share their thoughts and feelings about the tragedy and how America should respond moving forward.

Other events include free henna tattoos on Tuesday, March 19 in Old Main room 130 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and an Islamic movie night on Thursday, March 21 at Dial 225 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
