NFL Draft Talk Volume XV

Post date:

As the NFL draft draws closer and closer here are some questions that are circulating that pertain to prospects and their draft stock as well as their potential and projected impacts at the next level.
Did Kyler Murray impress scouts and league executives even more at his Pro Day?

Ever since he silenced his critics with is official measurables at the Scouting Combine where he officially measured in at 5”10” 1/8 and 207 pounds but refused to take part in any of the on-field drills, NFL community has impatiently waited for the Pro Day of the dynamic Heisman winning quarterback that took place on the campus of Oklahoma University on Mar.13.

He opted not to participate in any of the drills at the combine so that he could leave teams salivating with anticipation for what he would take part in at his Pro Day. He once again decided not to showcase his athletic ability by not running a 40-yard dash or taking part in the broad and vertical jump.

Murray will let his game tape do the talking if teams are curious about his speed and agility as the dual-threat quarterback left some of the best defenders in college football, many of which are going to be taken in this year’s draft, in the dust with his breakaway speed and made them miss week in and week out with his incredible athletic ability.

He was already considered a strong candidate to be selected with the No.1 overall pick whether it is to the Cardinals or whoever decides to trade up, and he made his case even stronger with an impressive outing at his Pro Day as he cut it loose and wowed all those in attendance.

He displayed everything that scouts and decision makers wanted to see during his throwing session. He exhibited great footwork, excellent touch on the ball, tremendous accuracy and showed off his rocket arm as he completed nearly every throw with crisp precision.

After such an impressive performance on the day, Murray proved to all those who were still wondering and questioning his intangibles that those will not be an issue and if they need further confirmation that he is the best player in this draft, all they need to do is turn on some of the college tape where he was the most dominant player to touch the field on Saturdays last season.
