GPAC Starts Year with Colorful Performance

An audience consisting of mostly community members came out to the Givens Performing Arts Center to see the colorful installment of the musical “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” on Jan. 14.

The play had iridescent lights, that flickered vibrant colors. The dance moves were upbeat and fast-paced. Although the story was based on the bible it had a Las Vegas show feel to it and entertained the crowd.

The musical, by Tim Rice & Andrew Lloyd Webber’s, is a retelling of the Biblical story of Joseph, his eleven brothers and the coat of many colors.
